Terms of Service

To rent a self-drive car from Universal Self Drive Cars, you must meet the following requirements:

• •You must be at least 21 years of age
• •You must possess a valid, permanent Indian driving license (temporary or learner's licenses are not accepted)
• •You must provide a government-issued ID proof (Aadhar card, PAN card, or Passport) and address proof
• •All documents must be original and valid at the time of rental; photocopies or expired documents are not accepted

For renters aged 21–25, we may require additional verification or restrict access to certain vehicle categories at our discretion.

Bookings can be made through our website, by phone at +91 97000 93666, or via WhatsApp. A booking is confirmed only after we verify your documents and receive payment.

• •Zero Deposit Policy: We do not charge any security deposit. The full rental amount is payable at the time of booking or vehicle delivery.
• •Payment Methods: We accept credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and cash. Online payments receive instant confirmation.
• •Pricing: All prices listed on the website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include comprehensive insurance and All India Tourist Permit. Fuel, tolls, parking, and inter-state taxes are not included.
• •Discount Bookings: Bookings of 7 or more days qualify for a 10% discount. Bookings of 30 or more days qualify for a 20% discount. Discounts are applied automatically.

Each booking includes a daily kilometre allowance. Extra charges apply beyond the included limit:

A grace period of 1 hour is provided for returns. Beyond the grace period, hourly charges apply. After 3 hours of overstay, a full day's rental is charged.

• •Free Cancellation: Cancellations made 6 or more hours before the scheduled pickup time are free of charge with a full refund.
• •Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 6 hours before pickup incur a nominal cancellation fee.
• •Modifications: Booking changes (dates, car model, duration) are subject to availability and must be requested at least 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
• •No-Show: If you fail to collect the vehicle or are unavailable at the delivery location without prior notice, the full booking amount is forfeited.

By renting a vehicle, you agree to the following conditions:

• •Only the registered renter (or pre-approved additional drivers) may operate the vehicle
• •The vehicle must not be used for illegal activities, racing, or commercial purposes (ride-sharing, taxi services, or goods transport)
• •Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement
• •You must follow all Indian traffic laws and regulations, including speed limits and seatbelt requirements
• •The vehicle must not be taken to restricted or hazardous areas, flood-prone zones during heavy rains, or unpaved roads not suited for the vehicle type
• •Smoking inside the vehicle is not permitted; a cleaning fee of ₹2,000 applies for violations
• •Any traffic violations, fines, or challans incurred during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the renter

All vehicles come with comprehensive insurance coverage that includes third-party liability and vehicle damage protection. However:

• •You are liable for damage caused by negligent driving, drunk driving, or violation of rental terms
• •Damage to tyres, windshield, underbody, or interiors caused by misuse is not covered by insurance and must be paid in full by the renter
• •In case of an accident, you must immediately inform our 24/7 helpline and the local police. Do not admit fault or sign any documents at the scene
• •Loss of personal belongings from the vehicle is not covered by our insurance or our liability

We provide complimentary doorstep delivery and pickup across Hyderabad. Delivery typically takes 30–60 minutes within city limits. We recommend booking at least 2 hours in advance for guaranteed availability. You may also collect the vehicle from our office in Vanasthalipuram.

At the time of delivery, both parties will inspect the vehicle and note any pre-existing damage. Please ensure you thoroughly inspect the vehicle before accepting it. Any concerns should be reported immediately.
